HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOTHAM!!

This past Sunday night (Aug 21st) we had a churchwide fellowship at Steve & Paula's house (thanks again for opening your home to all of us!!) and we celebrated Jotham's 2nd birthday!! Mrs. Sue made the most delicious and adorable basketball cake for Jotham too! (Thanks again Mrs. Sue...it was ALMOST too cute to eat, but when you're pregnant there's not much that you won't eat, lol)

Mrs. Anna got Jotham some balloons and they were a hit...of course everything is more fun when it's done with Suuuseeen!! :-)

Summer Cold...Yuck!!

You would think the words "summer" and "cold" would not go together, especially this year, but yes, yes, Jotham has caught a summer cold so we're back to the nebulizer treatments...he is so good and cooperative with them...he just sits with me so calmly and watches Yo Gabba Gabba...I am so blessed!

Huddle House Fun

Jotham at the Huddle House with Papa Joe and DD!  He loves scrambled eggs and french toast, but his favorite is the ORANGE JUICE!!!  He is my little breakfast eater, even at home...he loves cinnamon rolls, eggs, yogert, fresh fruit (like cherries, pineapple, peaches, oranages, applesauce)...oh and did I mention oatmeal with honey, cinnamon and raisins!!  He's a growin' boy!!

He went to stay with Papa and DD for two night while we celebrated our anniversary!  Thanks Mom and Dad!  It was a nice treat to have a few relaxing moments together.  We loved trying out a new sushi place in Valdosta, Ichiban's Japanese Steakhouse on N. Ashley was AMAZING!!  And it's not a trip without Brewster's Ice Cream!! Yum!! We had a blast just being together :-)

August 7th...

August 7th was a BIG day for us!! It was high attendance SS Sunday...Praise the LORD, we surpassed our goal and had 123 in SS!!  It was also the day we were able to reveal to our CBC Family that we were having a precious little GIRL!!  So for the breakfast social I baked a layered angel food cake with whipped icing and of course served it with strawberries...wouldn't think anything of it except the angel food cake was dyed PINK!!  :-) It was fun to see everyone's reaction...just in case the cake wasn't enough, Philip, Jotham and I wore PINK!!!  Also, August 7, 2004 was the day I married my wonderful husband!!  We have celebrated 7 wonderful years together!! I love you Philip!!

 Here is my "surprise" cake!  It was such a busy and fun day...I did not get any pictures of us dressed up in our pink, but you can imagine that I had to pay Philip to wear PINK!!!

Jotham got really quiet one morning after breakfast...for those of you with "almost" 2yr olds...you know quiet means trouble...so I went looking for him and found him in his carseat...with no pants...wearing Daddy's running shoes...so silly!

Help Me Mama!

 One morning over the baby monitor LOUD AND CLEAR I heard "heeeeeep me Mama! heeeeeeeeeeeep me!" So of course, I go running...and I find Jotham...well, trying to take his shirt off, but not too successful with his attempt.  At least he knew how to get me in there...he picked up the monitor and yelled into it like a microphone!  He is so silly!

Welcome Baby Girl!!

Well after almost half an hour in the sonogram room...baby girl finally uncrossed her little legs!!

Jotham was sick with a virus so Philip did not get to go with me...so, when I got home Mom and I brought a very revealing cake along with pictures (Jotham is holding) to break the fun news to the boys!! 
We are so excited and blessed!!

(She had 7 kids boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, boy! My dad was the last one...she was as sick as I was with all of hers...I am glad she made it to #7!! She told me if she'd gone to #8 she would have had a girl because she had a good pattern worked out, lol)
