Pumpkin Patch
We took a trip with Susan and Leighton to the Pumpkin Patch here in Douglas.
Jotham had a blast! The loved the hay ride and loved trying to eat the pumpkins.
And of course he loved seeing Susan, Mrs. Sue and Gracie Ann!

14 Months Old Today!!

Always a Monkey!
Found this precious Monkey suit at Toys R Us in Jacksonville...Jotham loved it so much that he hugged it and carried it around the store with us...so I had to buy it...but...I misjudged my growing boy and bought it too small so I had to return it...but before I did I got a great laugh trying it on him...the monkey feet came to his knees...oh goodness! :-0
Milestone Graduation!
At nearly 14 months, Jotham graduated from his little boy tub to the big boy tub!! Yah for therapy! He loves it!!Freedom!!

Jotham & Papaw
Papaw Jim got to make a quick visit to our new home in Douglas. It was too short a visit, but a blessing to see him!

DD & Papa Joe came to visit us in our new home in Douglas, GA! Too bad we didn't actually have a way to watch the NOLES play, but we were cheering for them anyhow! :-)
Jotham came to visit Papa Joe at APB one day...good thing Papa was prepared with a slinky!

Play Time with Mrs. Jennifer!!
Jotham began therapy not long after his 12 month check-up. He has been going for about 2 months now. He is doing so well. In that short time, he has learn to go from crawl to sit and sit to crawl. He has learned to tummy crawl using both legs and arms equally.
He has learned to play on his knees and even one knee sometimes. He has learned to pull up to stand and sit back down. He has learned to catch himself when falling backward, forward and to either side.
He has learned to cruise from left to right and right to left. He is very smart and catches onto new things pretty quickley. It won't be long before he is walking!
He loves Mrs. Jennifer and his toy "pet" turtle at therapy! He is doing so well!! He will be re-evaluated after 6 months and we are hoping he will be right where he needs to be at that point. God is good and faithful.
Praise the Lord!!
Jotham also had an EKG done and did so well with that because his Daddy and Aunt Hannah were there to play with him!! Thankfully, Jotham has a clean bill of health! His heart murmur was known as an "innocent murmur." For all medical purposes it will go away...he will just grow out of it. So, he has NO heart murmur!! Praise the Lord!! :-)

6 Years!!
Philip & I celebrated 6 years of marriage on August 7th of this year! It seems to have gone by so fast! I couldn't have asked God for a better husband, leader, confidant and friend.
Also, August 6th marked one year back in the USA...that is equally as hard to believe...it seems as if we just left! We still miss India and all our friends everyday!

Jotham got to go to the Gulf for the 1st time just after his 1st birthday!!
12 Month Check-up
Sorry some of these posts are out of order...life has been busy, but blessed. Only two things got Jotham to stop crying after all the shots at his 12 month check-up...1)the bubble gum dumdum (thanks Dr. Stewart) and 2)my cell phone...
He did well at the visit. He weighed 19lbs 8oz and was 28 1/4 inches long!
She was concerned in two areas: 1) she heard a heart murmur, 2) she felt his motor development was not where it should be. Things we did anticipate with his premature birth...but things that are not any easier on a mother's heart.
Testing for his heart and therapy evalutaion to follow...pray for us and Little Man! God is faithful and gracious!
