Ouchie!!

Well we finally got to go back to the doctor (PTL for health insurance!!). We got mostly a good report. He is still about 6wks behind on most things which is to be expected. His length was good, head size normal, development was good also, but his weight was very low for 5 months. 10lbs 8oz, so we were instructed by Dr. Stewart (whom we love) to start some rice cereal.

Not happy at all, but I was loving his Bugs Bunny Bandaids!!

Our first attempt at rice cereal with the spoon. He cried through the whole thing. He's not quite ready yet, but we practice once a day. He mostly takes it from the bottle though. After this crazy messy attempt and a long hard day of shots and exams I put him in his bathtub for a while (his favorite place ever) and he played and felt much better!!

More Tummy Time

Jotham is getting better and better at Tummy Time, but he was starting to hate it so much so his DD found him this toy in Panama City and he looooooooooves it!! It lights up and sings and it moves as he hits it. Makes T.T. more enjoyable for the whole family! LOL!

Jotham got to meet Ashley Noble for the 1st time. He was so excited, but getting a bit confused by all his Aunt Ashleys! We have to come up with some more code names!!

5 months old!!

Jotham turned 5 months old January 23rd and he is learning so many new things! Time is flying by, but we are trying to enjoy each moment!!

Bye-Bye Auntie P

Jotham had to say bye-bye to his Aunt Ashley in early January. He was very sad to see her go, but we have been praying for her as she goes to The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY! Yah! Have fun!! We miss you!!

Got the giggles!?!

Jotham has started giggling. He thinks his Daddy is so funny. Philip had him giggling so hard one night that he got the hick-ups afterward. We managed to catch it on video. Makes me laugh everytime I watch it!

Funny things he does...

He's getting better at sitting in his bumbo seat (thanks Jennifer for letting us borrow it)!! He will play with toys while he sit in it or watch me cook. He learned to make mac-n-cheese the other day. (his daddy's favorite)

He's been grabbing things and holding onto them also. He likes to take my glasses off my face and clean the lenses for me. How sweet!

He loves, loves, loves...did I say loves?? bath time. He is a bit disturbed in this picture that he had to get out! I think he'll be our little fish...or frog (according to the towell)!

Jotham & his Uncle Al

Not often that Uncle Al gets to come home for a visit, but he surprised us a few weeks ago and he and Jotham had the best time.

Jotham loves Uncle Al. He likes to "fly" with him and look at his shiny watch. They're best buds!
