A visit from the Greatgrandparents...
Jotham playing with Mamaw and her cell phone.
Playing with Papaw, trying to get his shoes off or chew them off.
An evening out in Adel at the 41 Feed Store with Mamaw, Papaw, Tony, Lisa and Mom. Yummy red velvet cheesecake was my favorite!
Some fun pool time! :)

What Jotham is doing at 7 months...
He's starting to hold his own bottle.
Sneezing and eating green peas doesn't mix!
He's rolling over a lot!
Did I say a lot? :)

Jotham's 1st Easter!
Mom and I stopped by the Valdosta mall for something totally different, but saw that the Easter Bunny was there so we got Jotham's picture made. He did really well considering the fact that this bunny looks kind of scary! :)
He opened his Easter basket Sunday morning...a new sun hat, church outfit and pool float! How fun! His DD got him a bunny that sings "Jesus Loves Me" and some fun bubble straws!
Jotham and I went to church together, but Daddy had to stay home in bed...with Mono...ugh! :(
Jotham and I played outside in the grass after a yummy lunch! He was just starting to reach for his toes! Growing up so fast!

Escape Artist?!
Since Jotham was born I have been using the "Swaddle Me" baby swaddlers and I think they have been amazing! I have NEVER had a problem with him not sleeping through the night. However, in recent months, he has become quite the escape artist and finds creative ways to get at least one arm free! :)

Morning Person
It seems that Jotham is a morning person. I don't know who he gets this from, but it's so precious to watch. It's nice to be greeted with a giggle and a smile every morning. This is a video of me going to get him one morning.
Jotham's Chef
Well, I think I've become a chef of sorts...for Jotham at least. I made him some baby food and it turned out pretty good. I made carrots, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, apples and papaya so far. I mix the veggies with rice cereal and milk to make 'cream of' whatever veggie he has. He really loves all of it!! I plan to try green peas soon. Jotham seems to like all of it! Here's a video of what he thinks about the food:
Tanda Pani?!
Well as it turns out Jotham loves ice water (tanda pani means chilled water in hindi, we used this phrase a lot over the past 1 1/2 years). He is just hilarious with his zeal to get the cup. Makes me laugh everytime I watch it.

Fun in the Pool!
Jotham had his first little dip in the pool the other day.
He loved it! Would you be surprised?! I think he takes after his mom and his DD with his love for the water!!

He decided to just dive right in!! He loved it so much!!

30 Years Old!!
We all had such fun surprising Philip for his 30th birthday! Ashley and I were secretly planning and texting so much that Ryan had to upgrade their phone plan! LOL! But...we pulled it off! He was totally surprised...scared even...when people jumped out and yelled 'surprise' at him. It was great!
Also, he loved the book of letters that we put together. Thanks to everyone who took time to write him a note!!
Ashley decorated and cooked a wonderful dinner for us (a steak dinner to be exact) and Alexa made Philip a yummy birthday cake. Of course we made sure to have him some Key Lime Pie too! (Mom and Dad, couldn't have pulled off the surprise without your help too! Thanks a million!)
Jotham even joined in on the surprises and helped me create a photo book of his 1st 6 months with his Daddy. It turned out great and was such a surprise.
I couldn't have been blessed with a more wonderful family! Love you all! Happy 30th birthday Philip! I am so blessed to be your wife...oh and happy birthday Daddy from Jotham too!
Papa, can you do my taxes?
Well, it's a busy time of year for my dad. Tax Season! We look forward to that infamous day in April when things slow down a bit. Jotham went to see the best CPA in the southeastern US the other day. He needed to get his taxes done too. No, not really, but he did need to see his Papa Joe and give him a break from one crazy day!
Don't Go!
Jotham really loves his Uncle Al. One night Alan kept trying to go to bed and Jotham would not let go of his shirt and he cried everytime Alan tried to give him to me. It was so cute. The sad part was when Alan had to leave and return to Jacksonville. Jotham poked his bottom lip out and cried so hard that I think me and Alan wanted to cry too!

New things I can do...
He loves his rattle and anything that makes lots of noise...
He loves to look at himself in the mirror...although he doesn't know it's him he's looking at...
Jotham is into lots of things now...he likes to try and help when I am changing his diaper...
He likes to cross his feet when he's relaxing in his Boppy...
He likes to play with his musical snail and practice sitting up and being on his tummy...
He likes to stack his musical blocks too...
