6 Months Old Today

Jotham turned 6 months old on February 23rd!! It's hard to believe that he's been with us that long!! What a wonderful blessing!

More Beach Fun!!

We had to take Jotham's portable bath tub on the beach trip because it deflates and fits better in the car. This was his 1st time testing it out. He basically wanted to go swimming! I had to keep a hand on this little fish the whole time since he cannot sit up on his own yet!! Needless to say, he loved it (thanks Cynthia Lee and family for the fun gift!!)

Jotham loves to watch morning cartoons (espcially Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Yo Gabba Gabba)...well I found him after he had giggled and danced so hard that he slid right out of his boppy! :)

Daddy was able to join us the 2nd day we were at the beach! We had a wonderful walk! Jotham was the coolest baby on the shore with his monkey shades!!

It was still cold though so we made a Starbucks stop for the walk back home! :)

Jotham's 1st Beach Trip

Uncle Al drove from Jacksonville to come see us for an afternoon. What fun?! Jotham loves to see his Uncle Al!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Jotham made his Daddy a card for Valentine's Day! He was so excited to give it to him!

He also got him 2 bibs (that he would wear of course)...one says "I love my Daddy" and the other says "handsome like daddy"

I think Philip really enjoyed his gifts! Happy 1st Valentine's Day Jotham!

Each day Jotham would practice eating some rice cereal from the spoon. He got better and better each time. Now he might be a professional eater (he comes by it honest)! He's a growing boy!

Ouchie!!

Well we finally got to go back to the doctor (PTL for health insurance!!). We got mostly a good report. He is still about 6wks behind on most things which is to be expected. His length was good, head size normal, development was good also, but his weight was very low for 5 months. 10lbs 8oz, so we were instructed by Dr. Stewart (whom we love) to start some rice cereal.

Not happy at all, but I was loving his Bugs Bunny Bandaids!!

Our first attempt at rice cereal with the spoon. He cried through the whole thing. He's not quite ready yet, but we practice once a day. He mostly takes it from the bottle though. After this crazy messy attempt and a long hard day of shots and exams I put him in his bathtub for a while (his favorite place ever) and he played and felt much better!!

More Tummy Time

Jotham is getting better and better at Tummy Time, but he was starting to hate it so much so his DD found him this toy in Panama City and he looooooooooves it!! It lights up and sings and it moves as he hits it. Makes T.T. more enjoyable for the whole family! LOL!

Jotham got to meet Ashley Noble for the 1st time. He was so excited, but getting a bit confused by all his Aunt Ashleys! We have to come up with some more code names!!
