Happy 5-0 Mom!!
For part of Mom's 50th birthday, some of 'us girls' (that's southern talk) went out for sushi. It was so much fun. Mrs. Cathy and Mrs. Patricia tried it for the first time!! We sure did miss Haley being there with us!! And we missed Ann & Jan, but Mom did get a wonderful birthday song from the Acteens over the phone as they put together their missions fundraiser!
Mom had a special Japanese Ceremony for her birthday...drums and all!! The lady was so excited that she sang the wrong song 1st in Japanese (mind you, we would not have know if she sang Achy Breaky Heart or Happy Birthday in Japanese), but she felt bad and told us she sang the wrong song and then started over again. It was so special.
Jotham and Caleb...BFF
Caleb, doing his best model pose.
Joanna "George" and Caleb (Joanna and I met taking dance lessons together as little girls all the way through high school...then we had an amazing time living together in college in Tallahassee, FL!!...we go waaaaaaay back)
Caleb wanted to touch Jotham, but he didn't know his own strength...
Jotham still feeling unsure after the hand to the eye...but he thinks they can still be friends
Nature Walk with Ashley
Me, Ashley & Jotham brought in the New Year together!! What fun...oh how our God made/makes provision for us that we do not deserve.
We decided to take a fun nature walk together...it was very cold and windy!! Here's the pond that filled up from all the wonderful rain.
And of course, you're not in south Georgia without a peacan tree or two.
Jotham in his BabyBjorn...trying to stay warm!!

We Love Bobby!!
Jotham in his game gear!

Jotham's visit to Milton, FL
Jotham's 1st Christmas!
Jotham got his first ball (of sorts)...it's a rattle with a ball inside a ball. He loves to grab onto it and swing it around, but it is a bit heavy for now.
He got a rubber ducky for bath time from Mommy & Daddy and he loves it so much...who doesn't love rubber duckies?!
He got Elmo too and he's not sure yet...sometimes he throws Elmo down but sometimes he likes him ok.
This is him looking at one of the ornaments he made...He likes the shiny bluuuuuuuuue...ooooooooooh!
Christmas Eve
Philip reading Jotham the Christmas story out of his very own Bible (thanks Auntie P). He was very attentive and interested.
DD & Papa Joe opening Jotham's gift for their tree!!! He put his foot print on a pretty blue ornament. It was a hit!! Thanks for the help, Ashley, Haley, Mrs. Cathy & Mrs. June!!
Our annual opening of gag gifts on Christmas Eve...long funny story about these flops if you're interested!!!
