Girl's Night Out with Jotham

Jotham finally got to meet his "Aunt" Cappie (Cathy) for the 1st time. We decided to have a girls night out and went to Valdosta for the night with Jotham in tow. He was very good during the trip, especially being the only boy! We gave his Auntie P (Ashley S.) a call all the way in S.E. Asia on our way home and Jotham cried and cried because he missed her, but when she said she'd be home in two weeks he got really quiet! He's so excited to meet her! We can't wait to have a girls night (+ Jotham) again with Ashley!

This week Jotham got to meet his cousins Andy, Lauren & Emma (Catherine was still at school, but he loves her too)!! He also got to meet his Aunt Joy (Uncle Tim was at work, but, again, he loves him too)!!

Jotham's 1st Stroller Ride

Thanks Rick Berry's SS Class!!! Jotham went for his 1st stroller ride in the park this week. He loves the outdoors and his stroller is so nice. We love ya'll!!

The Many Faces of Jotham

While Jotham was sitting with his Grammy Vi she snapped photos of his face. I laughed so hard at all of the different facial expressions that he made. He's got a lot of funny faces already.

Lay & Play

Jotham got a new mat to lay and play on. He has now started to try to swing his arms a little bit and try to play with the toys. He's a growing boy!

New Way to Lay

Jotham has a new "favorite" position to sit with his Papa Joe. He likes to lay on his back on Papa Joe's stomach, but his feet HAVE to be on a pillow or it's not right. They like to watch TV together.

New Tub

Thanks to all of you wonderful people who got Jotham Wal-mart gift cards he was able to get a new bathtub and we retired the spongue for a while. He loves his new tub and will fall asleep in it (not too safe right)!! He will try to eat the water now and likes to relax in his tub. How fun!?

Still Blue...

We can't decide what color Jotham's eyes will be. For now they're still blue. Some days they look crystal blue and on other days they look darker. Philip has hazel eyes (blue/green/gray) and I have brown eyes. We'll see...time will tell.

Hello Grammy Vi

Jotham's Grammy Vi came to visit from Bartlett, TN and he had such a fun time with her. Sleeping, eating, talking and just being Jotham. He sure does miss his Papa Jim though!!

Worn Out!!

Most days Jotham and I take a walk outside together in his Baby Bjorn carrier. He loves being outside, loves the South Georgia heat and the sun. It just puts him to sleep to be outside. This is Jotham after one of our afternoon walks last week. His hat's a little too big, but it works perfectly!!

Tummy Time

Since Jotham is now a month old he can now start his Tummy Time to work on head control and strength. He has started doing this every night with my mom, his DD, and he is very strong already!!

Baby Showers!!

Well, normally you get the baby showers before the baby, but since Jotham decided he would arrive before we expected...we did it in reverse order! It was so much fun to see everyone and be showered with such blessings! Thank you to all who helped to put things together for us. We love you!!

The Corbean Heir

Since Corbean is not a very common name...if you know a Corbean then they're probably related to us! Philip's brother, Ryan, and his wife, Ashley, have one daughter, Alexa. Philip's sister, Jennifer, and her husband, Dan, have two girls, Autumn and Lizzy (however they no longer carry the Corbean name). So, the running joke throughout Morgan's pregnancy was that she was carrying the only Corbean Heir. So, Ryan, Ash and Alexa sent this special suit to Jotham to commemorate his status as the "Corbean Heir."

One Month Old!!!

Jotham turned 1 month old on September 23rd!! He loves his Daddy!! He also loves his pacifier, but only for a minute or two then he gets bored with it. He thinks he has to lay to the side in order to use the pacifier. He's so funny!

Late Night Football Game

Jotham got his bath during halftime of a late night FSU game and he's sporting his new football sleeper courtesy of his Great Grandma (Mamaw) and Great Grandpa (Papaw) Powell. Thanks Mamaw & Papaw! Love you!!
