Fun at the Lakehouse

Jotham wearing my sunglasses on the boat ride!
Our family...the three of us! :)

Philip driving...hold on! :)

Me and Jotham suited up and ready to ride!

The test drive before we all went out...they had too much fun! Is Philip watching while he's driving?
Jotham had some fun time to play with his Papaw Jim...

Even had time to eat his sunglasses!

Papaw Jim bought Jotham a baby pool while we were at the Lake and Jotham tested out his swimmy

We went for a boat ride...Mr. Jim putting up the shade...

A visit from Grammy & Papaw Jim

Jotham got to go swimming with his Grammy Vi and his cousins, Emma, Andy and Lauren. (We sure did miss Catherine, Daddy & Papaw Jim!)
After swim time, Jotham needed some guy time with cousin Andy. They watched cartoons and read Spiderman (I think, who knows?!)
Gettin' sweet kisses from Grammy...
and hugs from Papaw Jim!

Jotham & DD

Jotham loves to play with DD every night before bedtime.
He also loves any drink she has...sonic included (she started this habit as well)

still more things...

Jotham has been practicing putting some weight on his little legs, but he pokes his little butt out while he does it and it is so cute!

He thinks it's fun to sit in the laundry basket or for me to dump the clean laundry on him and play the "where is Jotham" game...it just never gets old!
He likes paper plates...so, I'll never have to buy another toy right?! :)

He sat in a high chair for the 1st time at Pit Stop BBQ! He did a really great job! :) Big Boy!

other things he's been up to...

We let him practice sitting up...he's getting better, but has NO fall response...making for lots of face plants...ugh!
We've been trying to get him to put weight on his feet, but he doesn't want to...so we bought him this walker at a consignment store...but he was too short for it...so we had to improvise...thanks Papa Johns :)
He doesn't crawl, but he rolls everywhere...so I found him (off his play mat of course) playing the drums with his feet on this big jug...he loves to do this from time to time :)
He has started scooting a little, but he can only go backwards and he backs himself up under the ottoman, couches, chairs, you name it...he can back up under it!

Playing with Papaw, trying to get his shoes off or chew them off.
An evening out in Adel at the 41 Feed Store with Mamaw, Papaw, Tony, Lisa and Mom. Yummy red velvet cheesecake was my favorite!

Jotham's 1st Easter!

Mom and I stopped by the Valdosta mall for something totally different, but saw that the Easter Bunny was there so we got Jotham's picture made. He did really well considering the fact that this bunny looks kind of scary! :)
He opened his Easter basket Sunday morning...a new sun hat, church outfit and pool float! How fun! His DD got him a bunny that sings "Jesus Loves Me" and some fun bubble straws!
Jotham and I went to church together, but Daddy had to stay home in bed...with Mono...ugh! :(
Jotham and I played outside in the grass after a yummy lunch! He was just starting to reach for his toes! Growing up so fast!

Escape Artist?!

Since Jotham was born I have been using the "Swaddle Me" baby swaddlers and I think they have been amazing! I have NEVER had a problem with him not sleeping through the night. However, in recent months, he has become quite the escape artist and finds creative ways to get at least one arm free! :)
