1st Table Food!

Jotham has started drinking juice...he likes apple and pear juice so far...we'll see what else soon enough

The nurse asked me if he was drinking from a cup yet so i thought i would try it...well the cup is bigger than his head, he can't hold it or figure out how to drink out of it...so I don't think it's quite time yet!

Jotham tried his 1st table food (carrots)...he did pretty well!

I think he's gonna like food...that's a plus! :)

Monthly Weight Check

Jotham had his 1st little cold...it was so pitiful, but we did our best to keep him propped up high when he slept and comfort him a lot.

We got him a cool mist humidifier shaped like an elephant that he really liked...he thought he got to sleep next to an elephant friend every night. Thankfully, he's feeling much better!

This is Jotham with his best buddy, Dr. Stewart. He loves her so much!! And I love her! She is an amazing person, not to mention and amazing pediatrician!! We went for Jotham's weight check and shots...great news!! Jotham weighed in at 13lbs 2oz 25in long! We were so thrilled. He can now start yellow vegtables, chicken, turkey and fruits!! He has NO restrictions on how much to eat! Although he gained almost 3lbs, he is still not quite on the growth chart, but we feel he will get there soon enough!!

He was so worn out after our visit! Aunt Hannah went with us and she gave him his bottle and got him calmed down and relaxed after his shots. He loves his Aunt Hannah (and so do I)!!

He was in such a good mood after his shots!!

He's becoming a pro at the shot thing! He's handing me his PJ's and I think he wants a long nap!! :)

6 Months Old Today

Jotham turned 6 months old on February 23rd!! It's hard to believe that he's been with us that long!! What a wonderful blessing!

More Beach Fun!!

We had to take Jotham's portable bath tub on the beach trip because it deflates and fits better in the car. This was his 1st time testing it out. He basically wanted to go swimming! I had to keep a hand on this little fish the whole time since he cannot sit up on his own yet!! Needless to say, he loved it (thanks Cynthia Lee and family for the fun gift!!)

Jotham loves to watch morning cartoons (espcially Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Yo Gabba Gabba)...well I found him after he had giggled and danced so hard that he slid right out of his boppy! :)

Daddy was able to join us the 2nd day we were at the beach! We had a wonderful walk! Jotham was the coolest baby on the shore with his monkey shades!!

It was still cold though so we made a Starbucks stop for the walk back home! :)

Jotham's 1st Beach Trip

Uncle Al drove from Jacksonville to come see us for an afternoon. What fun?! Jotham loves to see his Uncle Al!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Jotham made his Daddy a card for Valentine's Day! He was so excited to give it to him!

He also got him 2 bibs (that he would wear of course)...one says "I love my Daddy" and the other says "handsome like daddy"

I think Philip really enjoyed his gifts! Happy 1st Valentine's Day Jotham!

Each day Jotham would practice eating some rice cereal from the spoon. He got better and better each time. Now he might be a professional eater (he comes by it honest)! He's a growing boy!
